Charles A. Cook, CPA

Charles A. Cook, CPA, is the managing partner of the Beckley Office, and has over twenty years of experience in public accounting. Prior to joining Hess, Stewart & Campbell, PLLC, he was a partner with the regional accounting firm Persinger & Company, PLLC.

Mr. Cook serves as partner in charge of several accounting and audit engagements, including financial institutions, not-for profit organizations, and small business. In addition, he is heavily involved in taxation and business advisory services. 

C. Michael Bass, CPA

C. Michael Bass, CPA, is a partner in the Beckley Office where he manages the tax practice of that office.  Mr. Bass has over thirty years of public accounting experience, working with two regional firms.  He has vast tax experience in specialized industries such as coal and construction, performing services such as the preparation of a thirty-entity consolidated income tax return.

Added to his tax experience, he has worked as partner in charge of several audit engagements, and is heavily involved in the business advisory and accounting services..
