Stephen D. Hensley, CPA, MBA

Stephen D. Hensley, CPA, MBA has over 35 years accounting experience in the military, manufacturing and banking industries and public accounting. Mr. Hensley joined the firm in 1996 and has been involved in compilation, review and tax preparation for small business clients with emphasis in the oil, gas and coal industries. 

Darrell D. Tucker, CPA

Darrell D. Tucker, CPA graduated from Morehead State University in 1982 with a Bachelor of Business Administration. He has been working for Hess, Stewart and Campbell, PLLC for 10 years. His responsibilities include tax, tax planning, compilations and estate and trust services. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the WV Society of Certified Public Accountants and the KY Society of Certified Public Accountants. He is licensed to practice in West Virginia and Kentucky. 

Amanda Sergent, CPA, MBA

Amanda Sergent, CPA, MBA has worked in public accounting since 2003.  She joined the firm in 2006.  She is a member of the WV Society of CPAs and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.  Amanda is also a Quickbooks Pro Advisor.  She has experience in auditing but specializes in small business accounting - compilations, reviews, preparation of various federal and state tax returns and financial statements for businesses and individuals.

Amanda graduated from Marshall University with a Bachelor of Business Administration, majoring in Accounting.  She also obtained a Masters in Business Administration from Marshall.

Eliott R. "Eli" Wilson, CPA / CFF / ABV, MS, MBA, CVA

Eli is a part of the firm's taxation, valuation, and forensic accounting divisions, and has been with the firm since 2007.  He attended Marshall University as a John Marshall Scholar and has obtained the following degrees: Bachelor of Business Administration majoring in Accounting (Magna Cum Laude), Master of Business Administration, and Master of Science in Human Resource Management.  He has extensive experience with tax research, business valuation, mergers and acquisitions, and other consulting engagements involving forensic accounting and litigation support.

Eli is Certified in Financial Forensics and Accredited in Business Valuation by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), and is a Certified Valuation Analyst.  He is a member of the AICPA (including the forensic and valuation services section), The West Virginia Society of Certified Public Accountants, and The National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts.  Additionally, he serves as a member of the Marshall University Division of Accountancy & Legal Environment Advisory Board and has been an adjunct professor of accounting and taxation for the division.

Charles "Matt" Morris, CPA, MS

Matt Morris started with the firm in 2008 after graduating summa cum laude from Marshall University with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and a minor in Economics.  He went on to obtain his Master of Science in Accountancy (summa cum laude) in December 2010.  While at Marshall, he was an active member of Beta Alpha Psi and participated in the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) Program.

In 2010, Matt received the Certificate of Merit Award from the WV Society of Certified Public Accountants for attaining the highest average grade in passing all subjects of the CPA exam.  He is a member of the WV Society of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.  Matt is a member of the audit department and has experience in the following industries: small businesses, financial institutions, manufacturers, housing authorities, benefit plans, and nonprofits.  He also prepares federal and state tax returns for entities in the above industries as well as for individuals, and has experience with business valuation engagements.

Tiffany Gooderham, CPA

Tiffany Gooderham graduated from Marshall University in 2003 with a Bachelor in Business Administration majoring in Accounting. She has been associated with Hess, Stewart & Campbell since December 2006. Her experience includes various types of audit engagements including manufacturing, health care, not-for-profits, and employee benefit plans. She also has experience with reviews and compilations, as well as preparation of federal and state income tax returns and financial statements for businesses and individuals.

Brian P. Peach, CPA

Brian P. Peach graduated from Marshall University with a Bachelor in Business Administration, majoring in Accounting (Magna Cum Laude). He started working at Hess, Stewart & Campbell in February 2012. He completed the CPA exam in 2012 and will become a licensed CPA in February 2013. He works mostly in the audit division of the firm, but also prepares federal and state tax returns for individuals and businesses.
